Welcome to the Economics Manifesto. Together, we’re going to talk about the most polarizing and difficult issues we currently face. In case you haven’t been willing to take a good look around lately, we are not supporting our majority very well. 99% feel the remaining 1% simply don’t don’t share the wealth. In turn, many of the 1% feel as if they are under attack by the 99% for having been successful. Somewhere, between these two extremes, lies a truth we are all scratching at like a re-occurring rash. It’s time to ignore the extreme views and let the majority of us who have some ideas for progress get to the business of fixing our biggest challenges. Thoughtful policy does not harm the majority.
